Jason has worked with the BRS Population for the past 19 years, prior to him opening PNW Helping Hands, his BRS experience has consisted of him being a line staff, Program Manager, and Director for other agencies. His duties included but were not limited to training staff, overseeing and implementing the treatment of clients, participating in the process of admission of client’s and maintaining compliance with our BRS contract. He has the educational background and real-life experience that is essential in understanding the population we work with. He believes that with his passion and experience, he can and has made positive changes to our youth.








Blake McFrederick
Executive Director

Blake has been an integral part of the PNW Helping Hands family for over four years. He has eight years of previous experience working with the BRS population. Blake has lived in Spokane for the entirety of his life and chooses to raise his four sons in the Valley with his wife.












Kristena O'Hara
Treatment Consultant

PNW Helping Hands Inc. 

Kristena comes to PNW Helping Hands with a Master degree in Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Idaho State University.  She relocated with her family from Boston to Spokane and is excited to be working at PNW Helping Hands.  Kristena has a background of providing clinical services to children, adults, families and communities.  However, her passion is working with at-risk youth.  She truly believes at PNW Helping Hands we can make a positive difference in the lives of the children and teens we work with.

TJ Koehler
Treatment Consultant

TJ comes to PNW Helping Hands with his Master’s in Education and Bachelors if Arts in School Health Education and Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. He resides in the Tacoma area with his family and is an integral part of the Tacoma Hunter Program though his weekly Treatment Meetings and overall support. Prior to obtaining is Masters, TJ was utilizing his education and experience through work with the Federal Way School District as the Physical Education Department Head and Instructor. TJ also enjoys coaching on his off time, having previously coached Football, Baseball, and Wrestling. He is eager to continue his work with youth in this role as our Tacoma Hunter Program really takes off!








Leah Williams
Office Manager / HR

Leah has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management obtained through Eastern Washington University. She has been doing Human Resources, administrative, and management activities for over ten years and has enjoyed supporting the PNW Helping Hands team in this very rewarding and challenging field since 2014.

 









Zitlali Marquez
Assistant Director
Refugee Programs


Zitlali comes to us with her Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Biology. Zitlali has been working in care facilities for the last 7 years. Zitlali started as a Residential Treatment Coach and then worked her way to a Supervisor and then Program Manager. Zitlali is excited to continue the growth with PNW Helping Hands and begin working with Refugees from around the world. 














Jared S. Hunt Mdiv, MA

Jared Hunt is the Blafour Program Manager. Jared not only has an abundant amount of experience in similar fields as well as his Master Degree in Counseling. Jared also serves our Country on the National Guard. Jared excels with his experience and education with his clients at the Elgin Program. He is very honored to have had the opportunity to continue his work as well as give back to the community. 

 






       





Jeremy Sacksteder

Jeremy has been working with youth for five years now. He has worked with youth with challenges such as drug addiction, autism and behavior rehabilitation. Jeremy graduated from Gonzaga University with his Masters in Sports Medicine. He came to PNW Helping Hands in August of 2015 and has worked hard to become a Program Manager. Jeremy grew up in the valley and and has 3 boys that he plans to raise in the Spokane area for many years to come with his wife. 










Bertha Elkhoja

Bertha comes to us with her Bachelors in Criminal Justice with a minor in sociology. Bertha has worked with risk youth for the last 3 years. Bertha has been working at the Hamilton Program as the Program Manager but will be making the transition over to our Mikhail Program. Bertha is excited to move forward with the growth of PNW Helping Hands.

Tiffany Layne

Brooke Program Manager

Tiffany is graduate student working on her theses while she works hard to bring the best services to those in her care and aims to help each of the girls at the Broke Program achieve their goals.  She has been working with sensitive populations for 13 years and graduated with a BA in Anthropology with a minor in History and Linguistics.  She hopes to further her education and earn a Ph.D. Her goal is to inspire the individuals to reach their goals and lead productive lives as a positive and healthy member of society. 











Erin Pankey

Erin came to PNW Helping Hands May 10 of 2016 as Program Manager of Jace Program in Auburn. Erin has a 
Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a minor in Social Work. Erin's originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked for Catholic Charities of Tulsa for 3 years as Lead Staff of the maternity home, Madonna House while working towards her degree at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma which she graduated with in December 2006. Erin moved to Washington in 2007 to work for Catholic Community Services of Western Washington as Program Supervisor over the Grays Harbor Youth Center and Street Outreach Program which served homeless and at-risk youth and young adults










Amanda Lewis

Amanda comes to us with a Bachelor’s degree in General Education K-8, a Bachelor’s in Special Education K-12, and a minor in Psychology. She completed her undergraduate studies at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, but is originally from San Diego, California. She moved to Washington in 2014, and before coming to Helping Hands, worked as a special education teacher in a neighboring school district. She is currently working towards a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling. She is so grateful for the opportunities Helping Hands has provided to her and is excited to continue to learn and grow within the company.
